Between the militarized police and coordinated efforts by the department of homeland security cracking down on protesters, media blackouts in New York during the eviction of Zuccotti park, and this internet censorship bill, this isn’t the America I grew up in. This isn’t “tinfoil hat” bullshit anymore, it’s happening, and it seems like so many people would rather pretend it’s not happening or continue to listen to the likes of Fox News and act like everything is A-okay. It’s making me sick.
